Tarot Forecast March 24th to 30th 2025

Writer: Julie EmbletonJulie Embleton

Tarot for the Collective

Your Tarot Forecast returns after last week’s bank holiday break for St Patrick’s Day. While I love this land of Ireland, I don’t celebrate the day with much fanfare anymore. When we were kids, we attended the parade in whatever green clothes or accessories we could find. My memories of St Patrick's Day recall standing for hours in the cold March wind as endless marching bands trooped by! This year, I was dog-sitting, and although the March wind was flitting about, I enjoyed a forest walk and playing in the garden with the pooch.

Death, The Tower, Queen of Pentacles. Deck: Ethereal Visions Tarot

The energies have been wild these last few weeks. I’m experiencing a lot of energetic highs and lows, and sleeping deeply with vivid dreams. With all the upheaval brought about by the lunar eclipse, the spring equinox, and the incoming partial solar eclipse on the 29th, it’s important we practice self-care. This week’s reading focus on being kind to ourselves, and asks the following: How can I embrace self-care, What doesn’t serve me, What does my soul require?

Two powerful energies of change and ending come into play for this week’s reading, and it’s no surprise with all the energetic shifts taking place at this time. Eclipses bring releases and illumination, so the appearance of Death and The Tower, the two most potent cards of change within Tarot, align with the energetic cycles we’re navigating. Trust in the Universe. Change can be uncomfortable and scary, but the disruptions happening are necessary, and bringing in much needed Light.

Death opens the reading, guiding us into how to embrace self-care. Death is about transformation; one cycle ending so fresh energy can flow in. In terms of self-care it indicates a need to make changes. Old ways no longer serve, so it’s time to shake things up. Reflect on your current self-care practices—do they even exist? Or do you fill everyone else’s cup before your own? Death heralds new life, so this is a clear call to examine how you take care of yourself. You already know what you need; whether it be active exercise, healthy food, more sleep, less screen time or deeper inner connection. Chances are intuition is already whispering the answer, so heed your inner voice and take the first step. Death doesn’t demand sweeping, overnight alterations. Beginning with small, manageable steps will serve you far better than instigating overwhelming change. Death is paving the way for a new beginning, so embrace this vital ending and the possibilities waiting as you embrace self-care.

“It is a good thing to have all the props pulled out from under us occasionally. It gives us some sense of what is rock under our feet, and what is sand.”

– Madeleine L’Engle (Author)

The Tower looms next, delivering a far sterner warning than Death of the need for change. The Tower indicates destruction of old patterns and behaviours. You might think you’re on solid ground, but foundations are crumbling, and all is about to fall. Major transformation is required around how you care for your mind, body, and spirit. If you’re already feeling resistance, that’s normal, but refusing to budge won’t serve your better good. When The Tower shakes our universe, we all push against the quake it brings, but once we’re ejected out of old ways, we land and look around, realising we have brand new opportunities offering far more potential than we could have imagined. Release the need to cling to the old. It no longer serves. The time has come to face change, and it’s coming whether you like it or not!

The Queen of Pentacles is the ultimate nurturer, finance whizz, and creative. She’s resourceful, and knows that everything she needs she will manifest. Her home is a place of sanctuary and security, a cocoon of love and abundance. Your soul is calling for this energy. It needs attention, nurturing, and love. As pentacles represent the material things in life, begin by reflecting upon your home environment. Spend time taking care of it. Perhaps it needs a tidy, a clean, or organising. With all the transformation brought in by Death and The Tower, consider what aspects of your home would benefit from new life. What should stay, and what should go? The Queen is shrewd with money, so consider if there’s a way to earn from a clear-out. On a spiritual level, examine what junk needs clearing out of your soul. What behaviours, thoughts, and beliefs were programmed by others, or are out of date? If you could give your soul a spring clean, what would you chuck out, and what would you freshen up? Apply nurturing Queen of Pentacles to your soul and surroundings. With such transformative energies in play, her energy is the balm your soul craves.

In all my readings over the past few weeks, three cards are appearing on repeat; Death, The Tower, and the 10 of Swords. I’ve been using many different decks, but the messages coming through all carry the theme of major shifts. The overriding message with this week’s reading is to clean and fill your own cup. The impact of change can shake us to the core, but if our foundation is strong, we’ll withstand the storms. Self-care is vital at this time, so be kind to yourself. Nurture your mind, body, and spirit to the best of your ability, and trust that the Universe will take care of the rest!

Have a transformative week, friends, and as always, take what resonates, and leave aside what doesn’t!
