Tarot for the Collective
Welcome to another Tarot Forecast. Can you believe we're almost at the end of February? There's beautiful sunshine as I write this, and it's a welcome gift after weeks of rain. Life threw a curveball this past weekend. I have a family member in hospital, so we're dealing with unexpected shifts. The outlook is promising however, for which we're all grateful. With my time funnelled elsewhere right now, I've had to hit pause on many things, including the blog, but it'll be back in action soon!
Although a simple spread, the Reflect, Act Upon, Release reading always holds lots of insight. Here goes!
The transformative power of Death opens this week's Tarot Forecast, and in the Reflect position, it asks us to consider both the upright and reversed aspects of this card: What are you ready to transform, and, what transformation are you resisting? Death brings a major life change. It often appears when there’s a change of job/career, the transition into parenthood, or moving country; any shift that brings a new direction in life. The ‘death’ aspect of this card is leaving behind the old so the new can come in. Therefore, it’s a positive card announcing worthwhile change, and even though we may or may not be ready for it, the outcome will be celebrated. So, reflect upon how change is impacting your life at this time. Are you anticipating it with delight, uncertainty, or railing against it? When Death trots into a reading, it’s typically a sign that the change is coming, so even if we do push against it, resistance is futile!

Balance, foundation, and success comes with the 4 of Wands. This is a card marking a success, possibly a first notable achievement with a current project or goal. You’ve earned this achievement, so take the time to Act Upon this success by celebrating yourself, and all those involved. Gather your colleagues, team, partners, and mark this occasion with a joyous celebration. Another notable aspect of this card is the foundational balance of four. This indicates solid groundwork that will continue to support. While projects or goals may still be in the early stages, you’ve reached a notable milestone with this achievement, and expansion must remain your focus. ‘Perfect Work’ is the keyword for this card, so Act Upon this achievement by maintaining focus and integrity.
A second Wand, and this time it’s the passionate, charismatic Knight of Wands. This is a fiery energy, one that urges us to gallop ahead. Driven by passion, determination, and inspiration, the trouble with this Knight, is that he doesn’t pause to consider his goal, and sometimes, those around him, either. The Release message is to slow down and avoid allowing fiery inspiration yank you off course. Passion is a vital ingredient when it comes to any aspect of manifestation, but if it’s lacking foundation and structure, there’s a risk of all crumbling apart. By all means enjoy the drive ignited by the Knight of Wands, but lean into the ‘Perfect Work’ message of the 4 of Wands. Without proper planning, and a solid game plan, diving in might have you whacking your head off the bottom of a very shallow pool.
Death brings transformation. Are you ready for it? With a solid foundation built, you’ll handle the shifts with ease. But do be cautious of allowing inspiration overtake sense. Enjoy the passion, but keep a strong hold on the reins.
