Tarot for the Collective
Hello, March!
Beautiful sunshine is pouring into my room as I prepare for this week’s Tarot Forecast. I hope Spring has sprung where you are, too! I’m working with a spread I haven’t used in a while, the Past, Present, Future spread. This is a great one for gaining a bird’s eye view of what’s unfolding, so I hope it brings a little clarity as we move into a new week and month.
The Elder of Fire brings maturity and wisdom. In the Past position, it reflects an entrepreneurial spirit, where creativity and inspiration flowed, likely resulting in success. The Elder of Fire sees opportunity in adversity. Challenges are welcomed, because through them, the Elder knows we grow. As this week unfolds, call upon that Elder wisdom. Whether it inspires you to take brave action, lead others, or tackle challenges head on, it’s a powerful energy. Reflect upon times when you channelled Elder (King) traits. What was the outcome, and what did you learn about yourself in the process? Did you surpass your own expectations of self? The Chariot lies ahead, embodying themes of control and willpower, and who better to ride a chariot than an Elder of Fire?

The 3 of Earth appears in the Present, highlighting the need for collaboration. The fairy calls upon friends to help her with the tricky task. Without their assistance, she’ll bruise the apple, and at worse, gravely injure herself. This card asks us to reflect upon resources. What’s available to you right now in terms of people, technology, skills, and talents? If a challenge appears overwhelming, lean into courageous, creative Elder energy for aid. Productivity lies in a group setting; when you coordinate and collaborate, you also increase your knowledge bank for the future. The key to prosperity lies in teamwork at this time. Going it alone restricts expansion, so to keep building upon your dream, bring in anything or anyone who can help. Threes bring an energy of expansion, but they can also indicate a little instability, so reach for whatever stabilise efforts, but be mindful of selecting resources that share/support your dream.
The incoming energy of The Chariot reflects focused willpower lies in the Future. Chariot energy prompts us to examine if we’re in control of a situation. It typically suggests victory is at hand, but only if drive and willpower are employed, so if ‘winging it’ is your MO, it’s time to get a lot more organised and focused. With The Chariot, the reins are in your hands. You and your skills are the vehicle hurtling towards the finish line, so as long as you stay in control, success is yours for the taking. Watch out for imbalance with ego. Misplaced intention, especially if its powered by glory, can upend your Chariot, so keep integrity intact! Another positive aspect of The Chariot is the ability to navigate speed bumps and potholes. In ‘lesser’ cards, obstacles can derail progress, but with The Chariot, the outlook is promising—as long as effort is sustained.
The wise Elder sitting in our past holds a wealth of experience. Draw upon this to keep pushing forward, and with it, support in whatever form aligns with your situation. Victory lies ahead, but only if effort is sustained and balance between ego and motivation is maintained. Overall, a week of expansive energy awaits, so grab the reins and take control.
